UNESCO GEOPARK TOUR

Meeting point: Tanjug Rhu Jetty (UNESCO Geopark Tour)
Total duration of activity: approximately 2.5 hours (2 hours: boat ride including 15 min: visiting cave & 15 min: visiting fish farm)

Places to visit: Sungai Kisap, Sungai Tanjug Rhu and Sungai kilim, open sea (the kilim Geopark sign board), crocodile cave (no crocodile), fish farm tour, eagle watching area, Langkawi Geopark sign board and open sea boat ride. Wildlife we might get to see: eagles, kites, kingfishers, lapwings, monitor lizards, mud lobster, mudskippers, horse-shoe crab, nose leaf bats, mangrove pit-viper, crab eating macaque and if we are lucky indo-pacific humpbacked dolphins and otters.

MANGROVE RIVER CRUISE AND SNORKELING Board the Explorer Boat at Kubang Badak Jetty, for an immersive journey along the coastal river, exploring the diverse mangrove forest shaped by the ebb and flow of tides. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of the White-bellied Sea Eagles, Brahminy Kites, Kingfishers, Herons, Mudskippers, Fiddler Crabs, Monitor Lizards, and, if fortunate, the resident otter family.

  • 2 Hours: Boat Ride
  • 30 min: Visiting Pinang Cave, Charcoal Kiln

KAYAKING ADVENTURE AND SWIMMING For those seeking an exhilarating experience in Langkawi, we head over to Kubang Badak River for an exciting Kayaking adventure.

Available: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Tour duration: 3 Hours

Itinerary:

  • Time: 9.30am – 1.00pm
  • Meeting Point: Kubang Badak Jetty
  • 30am – Meet up at Location, briefing, and preparation.
  • 40am – langkawi KayakingKayaking start. Make a stop at Pinang Cave, Charcoal Kiln, Jemuruk Island
  • 30pm – Return to Jetty, drive to a local house for Lunch
  • 00pm – Tour end

Attire: Hat, t-shirt, shorts or long pants, please wear swimwear under your attire, sun protection, covered shoes or sports shoes, towel and a change of clothes, ensure to have water proof bag for the camera and phone.

JUNGLE TREKKING Langkawi lowland rainforest contains numerously specialized and endemic floras and fauna that can be found nowhere else in the world. Within these unique habitats, a fragile world of interdependence has evolved.

Time: 9.00am – 11.00am Duration

  • 2 hours walking approximately
  • 50am – Meet up at the location
  • 00am – Tour start at the trail and we begin trekking through the rainforest. Our nature guide will narrate to you and explain on medicinal plants and wildlife we might encounter during the trekking
  • 00am – Tour End

Meeting Point: Jalan Datai in front of Crocodile Adventure Land by 8.50am

Attire: Long sleeve shirts, long pants, sandals or sports shoes, mosquito repellent.
