4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS KUCHING EXPERIENCE (EGH/DOM-4D/KE)

Day 1    Arrival Kuching – Brief City Tour   [Lunch)

Meet and greet at Kuching International Airport and proceed for Kuching City Tour. Places of interest including passing through China Town, Tua Pek Kong Temple, Malay Kampong, Kuching Mosque and Kuching Waterfront to view Darul Hana Bridge, the Astana, New Legislative State Assembly of Sarawak, Fort Margherita (across river) and other buildings from the past surrounding the Waterfront; namely the old Courthouse (now Sarawak Tourism Complex), General Post Office and the Square Tower. A brief stop will be made at a local souvenirs outlet – Main Bazaar. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 2    Semenggoh Wildlife – Crocodile Farm – Borneo Happy Farm    [Breakfast/Lunch]

After breakfast, 0800hsr depart to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. Here captive orang utans formerly kept as pets are being nurtured to re adapt themselves back to jungle life. Learn about the conservation effort done to ensure the sustainability of this endangered species of apes. Before arriving at the feeding platform, you will have a wonderful experience of walking through the amazing untouched rainforest. Afterwards, proceed to Jong’s Crocodile Farm. Spend your time going through the lifecycle of the last member of the dinosaur family from more than 1000 crocodiles bred in captivity, housed in enclosures according to their ages and watch the crocodile feeding at 1100hrs. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, depart for Borneo Happy Farm. This farm advocated “ Back to Nature”, advocating care of the natural environment, understanding of green ecology and local culture. Borneo Happy Farm has the theme of “agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishing” to create an outdoor teaching paradise, so that today’s urban children can get out of air-conditioned classrooms, experience the moisture of the sun on our farm, and get close contact with farm animals. During the fruit season, you can experience and understand the local fruit growing and harvesting process.

 

Day 3    Sarawak Cultural Village – Shopping Tour  [Breakfast/Lunch]

After breakfast, 0830hrs depart to Sarawak Cultural Village -The 17-acre living museum depicts the heritage of the major racial groups in Sarawak, a perfect introduction to its people, its cultures and its handicrafts. A daily 45-minute cultural performance is not to be missed during the tour. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed for shopping tour which includes Kek Lapis Sarawak and Ikan Terubok before return to hotel.

(Note: Put on good walking shoes, cotton clothing to remain comfortable, wide brimmed hat / cap and sun block lotion. Bring along a poncho and a camera)

Day 3 Departure [Breakfast]

Breakfast at hotel then check out. Transfer to the airport for departure.
