DAY 01 – CHENNAI – KANCHIPURAM – MAHABALIPURAM – 2 hrs
Arrive at Chennai. Then drive to Mahabalipuram, the world heritage site famous for the monolith temples dating back to centuries. Also visit Kanchipuram, the city of temples enroute. Reach Mahabalipuram to have an overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 02- MAHABALIPURAM
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram visiting shore temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas and beach. Later free to relax at Hotel Overnight stay at hotel
DAY 03 -PONDICHERRY (100 Kms/2.5 Hrs drive
After breakfast drive to Pondicherry, covers an area of 480 sq.km. consisting of the four coastal regions of Pondicherry, Karakkal, Yanam and Mahe. These where former French possessions situated on the eastern coast.. Visit:- Sree Aurobindo Ashram- The world famous Sree Aurobindo Ashram is situated here. Raj Nivas- The official residence of the Lieutenant Governor, now known as Raj Nivas, is a true specimen of the fusion of Indian and French cultures. The main building is 200 years old. The interiors, the sitting rooms and the enclosing galleries have wooden furnishings which have a French base with Indian syle caving. Over night at Hotel
DAY 04 –TRICHY – MADURAI – 4 hrs
After breakfast Drive to Madurai. On the way Sightseeing Trichy Includes Rock Fort
Temple, Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple.
Later drive to Madurai. Madurai in Tamilnadu, one of South India’s greatest temple towns. Madurai has a rich cultural heritage passed on from the great Tamil era which is more than 2500 years old.. Free to relax at Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 05 –MADURAI
Morning Experience a guided walking tour of Madurai in the morning. Interact with locals to learn about daily life and trading practices (6 am to 7.30 am). Later return back to hotel and have breakfast and proceed for Sightseeing in Maduari includes visit the Meenakshi Temple to attend the popular evening ceremony where the Hindu God Siva is taken in a palanquin Gandhi Museum (Closed on all National and government holidays),Thirumalai Naicker Palace, Evening visit Madurai local flower market, Later visit the Meenakshi Temple to attend the popular evening ceremony where the Hindu God Siva is taken in a palanquin etc. Overnight stay at Hotel
DAY 06– MADURAI / TRICHY Departure
After breakfast on time checkout from hotel and proceed to Trichy / Madurai Airport. Drop at Airport for departure.
